Membership Dues Tax Deductibility
KSHA membership dues may be partially deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense (not as a charitable contribution). The portion of dues that may be tax-deductible depends upon the amount of money KSHA allocates to its lobbying activities on behalf of its members, and will vary from year to year. For the tax year 2007, 85% of your membership dues may be deductible. Consult a tax professional about your particular situation. |
